How it works

• Same puzzle for everyone. The grid, the trial order, the layout — all generated from today's date, so your run is directly comparable to everyone else's.
• One attempt. No retrying until you get a good run. That's the point.
• Everyone gets the same task. Same game, same difficulty, same day — that is what makes the times worth comparing.
• The test rotates. 12 of the 14 paradigms take turns — Schulte Table, Stroop Test, Visual Search, Simon Effect Test, Flanker Test, Go/No-Go Task, Cancellation Task, Trail Making Test, Change Blindness Test, Sustained Attention to Response Task, Mackworth Clock Test and Task Switching Test. Multiple Object Tracking and Psychomotor Vigilance Task sit this one out: their motion is integrated against real elapsed time, so a slower device would get a different trajectory from the same seed and the comparison wouldn’t be fair.
