Train Your Focus with Science-Based Concentration Games
Fourteen focus and concentration games — real attention tests from cognitive-science research, scored the moment you finish.
Every test is free, no sign-up required.
Tap the circles in numerical order, as fast as you can.
Play Trail Making Test →Attention isn't one thing
Finding a target quickly and keeping track of it a minute later are different skills. One overall number hides that difference. Focani measures each dimension separately, so you can compare like with like across your own sessions.
These fourteen tests fall into four groups. The diagram shows the dimensions they cover — a map of the measurements, not a sample score.
Finding things fast
Getting your eyes to the right place, and not losing your place.
Schulte Table · Visual Search · Cancellation Task · Trail Making Test
Holding a rule under pressure
Answering by one feature while another one pulls at you.
Stroop Test · Simon Effect Test · Flanker Test · Go/No-Go Task
Staying with it
Keeping going when almost nothing happens.
Sustained Attention to Response Task · Mackworth Clock Test · Psychomotor Vigilance Task
Keeping up with change
Switching rules, tracking movement, noticing what changed.

Measured separately, because they come apart.
Why Focani
Focani is attention training built like a lab experiment, not a casual game.
Real paradigms, not gimmicks
Every test here is an established attention paradigm, including the Stroop task, Trail Making and the Schulte Table. For each one we publish where it came from, what we changed, and what that costs you.
Every session, an actual number
Time, accuracy, and a score — displayed the moment you finish. No vague 'your brain is 24% sharper' claims.
Built to show growth
Create a free account and every result is saved, so you can see whether your focus is actually improving session over session.

Four guides on what these tests can and cannot tell you — each one takes apart a claim you have probably seen repeated somewhere.
Frequently asked questions
Are Focani's focus games actually based on science?+
Yes. Every paradigm here comes from decades of cognitive-science research — among them the Schulte Table, the Stroop task and the Simon effect. We digitized tests that researchers actually use to study attention, rather than inventing a vague 'brain age' score.
Do I need to sign up to play?+
No. You can play every core test and see your score without an account. Signing up (free) only adds saving your scores, tracking growth over time, and the global leaderboard.
Is Focani free?+
Yes, completely. Every test, every difficulty and every feature is free, with no session limit and no account needed to play. Signing in — also free — only adds saved scores, your history and the leaderboard. There is no paid tier and nothing is held back.
How is Focani different from other concentration games or brain-training apps?+
Focani is focused: every test is an established attention paradigm rather than an invented game, and every session ends with a real number — time, accuracy, score — not a vague claim that your brain is 'sharper'. For each task we publish its source, how our version differs from it, and what it cannot tell you.
Will doing this actually make me more focused day to day?+
Nobody can honestly promise that, so we don't. You will get better at these tasks — practice effects are real and show up within a few sessions. Whether that carries over to reading a long document or sitting through a meeting is a separate question, and the research on that kind of carry-over is mixed at best; several large studies looked for it and did not find it. That is exactly why this site sells you a measurement rather than a result: the same task, scored the same way, so you can see how today compares with your own recent sessions. Treat the number as feedback, not as a promise.
What does a Focani score actually mean?+
It is not a percentile and not a clinical result. Each score comes from your speed and accuracy on one specific test at one specific difficulty, on a 0–100 scale that only means something against that same test. There are no norms behind it — with a player base this size, any “you beat X% of people” figure would be noise. So the comparison that carries information is always with your own recent sessions, which is what your dashboard shows.
How is Focani different from Human Benchmark?+
Human Benchmark is great for reflexes, memory, and typing. Focani is built specifically around fourteen focus and selective-attention paradigms it doesn't have, including the Schulte Table, Stroop, visual search and object tracking.
